Independent Evaluation Services
Many programs require independent, external evaluation due to funder requirements or because they are too large or complex to evaluate with internal resources.
I conduct evaluations in libraries and other informal learning contexts, formal education settings, and social service and community-based contexts. I have particular expertise evaluating programs focused on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) learning in informal contexts. Depending on your needs, I evaluate program effectiveness, quality, and relevance and identify opportunities to improve.
I can:
-
Design and conduct evaluations of your existing programs, services, and initiatives.
-
Help you articulate the desired outcomes of new projects and align your activities to reach them.
-
Develop the evaluation plan for your grant proposals and position your project for success with funders.
-
Foster adaptive learning within your project team by guiding reflection on key findings and identifying implications for future work.
